Hi Friends,
There’s something in the air this time of year. . . Not just pollen, although yes, the allergies are real (for sure!). I’m talking about that feeling. The one that makes you want to wear fewer layers, dance barefoot in your backyard, or sit under a star-lit sky making wishes like when you were a kid. That’s Beltane energy. Now before you picture flower crowns and maypoles and assume this isn’t for you… pause. Beltane isn’t about pretending we live in a cottagecore fantasy (sigh). It’s about remembering that you are the fantasy. The flame. The one who says yes to life. So What Is Beltane in This Modern Day and Age? Traditionally, it’s the midway point between spring and summer—a cross-quarter festival on the Celtic Wheel of the Year that marks the return of heat, light, growth, and... desire. Yasss. Beltane is about fertility, but not just in the baby-making sense (insert HUGE grin). Fertility of everything. Ideas. Love. Creativity. Soulful risk-taking. The fire you’ve been quietly tending all winter? This is when you let it leap. In ancient times, people lit bonfires, leapt over them, celebrated their bodies, their unions, their intentions. And sure, maybe most of us can’t dance around or jump over a full-on bonfire these days, but that doesn’t mean the invitation no longer stands. Wherever you are, you can take this time to celebrate life, love, creation, and sacred flame. No backyard (like me, currently)? No problem. You don’t need acreage or antlers to make this sacred. Try one (or a few) of these:
The key? Presence. Joy. Intention. That’s the magick. Here’s what I really want you take away from all of this: So often, we wait for the right moment, the right moon, the right level of healing to celebrate ourselves. Beltane is the reminder that the moment is now. That joy is sacred. That your desire to create, connect, or simply feel good is holy. It is the way of Goddess. This season, let yourself ignite. Be the spark. Be the flame. Be the one who says yes to the beauty of being alive. Need a little ritual inspiration? Volume 3 of Luxunis Life has a full Beltane feature (including a super doable DIY) waiting for you. Celebrate the fire within. Let it ignite and burn bright! Wishing you a magickal, fiery Beltane- Shakti #BeltaneMagic #WheelOfTheYear #UrbanWitchery #ModernMystic #SacredSeasons #FireFestival #WitchInTheCity #EverydayRituals #LuxunisLife #SpringSpellwork #ReigniteYourMagick #HighPriestessPath #Luxunis #LivingYourBestMagick #Love

![]() Hi Friends, Let’s be honest. Some days feel... flat. Like the magick got up and left without leaving a note. You stir your tea three times clockwise, light your favorite candle, and still feel kinda meh. Been there. But here’s the thing I’ve learned: magick doesn’t always show up in the big rituals. Sometimes, it hides in the tiny, ordinary, blink-and-you-miss-it moments. The secret is remembering to notice them. So, if you’re in need of a little everyday enchantment, here are a few ways to sneak some witchy wonder back into your life. No full moon, altar room, or ceremonial cloak required. 1. Stir Intention Into Your Morning Drink Coffee, tea, matcha, doesn’t matter. Stir in what you want more of: clarity, calm, creative chaos. Bonus points if you do it out loud. Whispering counts. 2. Dress Like a Spell Pick a vibe. Channel it. Dress for the energy you want to embody. Whether that’s velvet high priestess or “I’m one long cardigan away from a forest ritual,” go for it. 3. Enchant Your Home One Corner at a Time You don’t need to sage the entire place. Just pick one nook and bless it. Add a crystal, a spritz of rose water, or a note under your pillow. Magick expands where it’s welcomed. 4. Talk to Your Tools Seriously. Talk to your crystals. Greet your tarot deck. Touch the wooden spoon like it’s an old friend. Your tools are listening. When you speak, you are breathing life into these sacred tools. And they become more aligned with your work. So go ahead. . . talk to them! They respond best when acknowledged. 5. Create a Mini-Portal Choose something ordinary and give it a job. A specific doorframe you walk through when you want to shift your energy. A ring you wear when you need courage. A drawer that only holds sacred things. Portal: unlocked. Life Is Already the Spell The more you notice the enchantment woven into the everyday, the less pressure you’ll feel to create it from scratch. You’re not separate from your magick. You’re living inside it. So if this week has felt a little dull or disconnected, try weaving a little wonder back in. One flicker, one word, one whisper at a time. Oh and if you need more inspiration, Volume 3 of Luxunis Life has a beautiful spread on everyday magick you can try at your own pace. DIYs, spells, journal art, and inspiring rituals to bring you back to your inner mystic. Because remember, you are the magick. Magickally Yours, Shakti Hi Friends,
Lately, I’ve been noticing that creativity doesn’t always show up when I’m looking for it. It’s more like a bird landing on the windowsill. . . unannounced, totally catching you by surprise and fleeting. You can’t force it to arrive. You just have to be still enough for it to feel safe to land and enjoy it when it makes itself known! This month, I gave myself space to breathe. I didn’t chase productivity, I just let things be. And wouldn’t you know it… inspiration started fluttering in. Not the kind I mapped out in a planner, but the kind that drifts through a quiet afternoon and leaves behind a whisper: “How 'bout we create this?!” One of those little whispers ended up in the latest issue of Luxunis Life. A late coffee ritual (Thank you Barista Juju!!), a passing memory, and a scribbled journal note came together like alchemy. . . blending into a ritual and a reflection I hadn’t planned but completely loved! It was a sweet reminder that sometimes inspiration doesn’t show up with a lightning bolt. Sometimes it’s a birdsong. A glimmer. A spark. So if your creativity’s been quiet lately, I see you. Maybe it’s just waiting for you to stop trying so hard. To soften. To listen. To let it land. And if you’re curious what arrived on my windowsill this season, you’ll find it gently tucked into Volume 3 of Luxunis Life. These are the moments that make it magick! And maybe something in those pages will land for you, too. Cheering you on! Shakti P.S. Volume 3 of Luxunis Life is out now! This season’s issue is an invitation to reconnect with what nourishes you: creativity, ritual, seasonal wisdom, and a little kitchen magick. Inside, you’ll find stories, spells, DIYs, and a few surprises (yes, even a spell or two tucked between the pages like pressed flowers). I poured a lot of heart into this one—and I’d be honored if you gave it a peek. 👉Find It Here! #LuxunisLife #SpringCreativity #WhereInspirationLands #MagickInTheEveryday #Luxunis #EntrepreneurLife #SlowLivingMagic #SpiritualCreatrix #SeasonsOfSoul #IntentionalLiving #CreativityIsSacred #InspiredByStillness #HighPriestessPath #LightAndRitual #KitchenWitchWisdom #CreativeEnergyFlow #ModernMystic Hi Friends!
I’m back! I’ve just returned from a month-long dive into creativity and quiet. I didn’t plan to work on the business. That wasn’t the goal. I had plans for sleeping in, catching up on my reading, maybe binge watching a series or two. . . Nope. But when things get quiet, The Muses tends to speak up. And this time, they whispered in blueprints and sparked ideas! Ideas sprouted what seemed out of nowhere! Although organic, it was like finding something blooming where you didn’t even remember planting seeds. (Have you done this before? I know I have! One time I thought I had planted zucchini and cucumbers grew!! Story for another day.) Ideas began to flow. Not small tweaks, but new ideas, and some big transformations. I found myself reimagining old favorite offerings (like my spell boxes with intention sigils, themed incenses and oils), dreaming up new ones, and getting honest about what Luxunis wants to become next. It didn’t feel like work. It felt like sculpting clay with your hands. A little messy. A little frustrating. Deeply satisfying. I used that time to listen. Not just to Spirit, but to myself. To the parts of me that were stretching. To the ones that had been quiet for too long. I followed the nudges. I gave them space. Let them speak. And now, here I am. Still in the process, but more myself than I’ve felt in a long time. You should see my office covered in Post-its and print-outs! Spring seems to invite this kind of rebirth. Maybe it’s the light. Maybe it’s the way everything knows how to grow again, even after a long pause. And speaking of joy, during my time away I got to meet my fifth grandchild for the very first time. We hugged, laughed and cried at finally being reunited for what seemed like a bazillion years away from them. We took in the sweet-scent of “newborn baby” and just fell in love. . . for the 5th time. One of my many favorite moments? Sitting on the floor with my older grandkids and teaching them how to play jacks. It was my favorite game growing up. Simple. Rhythmic. Full of laughter. There was something magical about bouncing that little red ball and scooping up the jacks before it landed. Time slowed down. Watching them catch on, giggling and competing, brought me so much joy. It felt like passing a piece of my childhood directly into their hands. A legacy in motion, right there on the floor. If you're in a space like that too, wondering what stays and what goes, I see you. Sometimes the best thing you can do is pause long enough to hear what wants to grow next. And sometimes, you may be surprised at what decides to show up (maybe not zucchini)! Something new is on the way. And I think it’s going to feel really good. Oodles of Hugs, Shakti #notzucchini #newgrandbabies #myloves #soulwork #luxunislife #lifepath #lettingo #listening #rebirthinprogress |
