Hi Friends,
Lately, I’ve been noticing that creativity doesn’t always show up when I’m looking for it. It’s more like a bird landing on the windowsill. . . unannounced, totally catching you by surprise and fleeting. You can’t force it to arrive. You just have to be still enough for it to feel safe to land and enjoy it when it makes itself known! This month, I gave myself space to breathe. I didn’t chase productivity, I just let things be. And wouldn’t you know it… inspiration started fluttering in. Not the kind I mapped out in a planner, but the kind that drifts through a quiet afternoon and leaves behind a whisper: “How 'bout we create this?!” One of those little whispers ended up in the latest issue of Luxunis Life. A late coffee ritual (Thank you Barista Juju!!), a passing memory, and a scribbled journal note came together like alchemy. . . blending into a ritual and a reflection I hadn’t planned but completely loved! It was a sweet reminder that sometimes inspiration doesn’t show up with a lightning bolt. Sometimes it’s a birdsong. A glimmer. A spark. So if your creativity’s been quiet lately, I see you. Maybe it’s just waiting for you to stop trying so hard. To soften. To listen. To let it land. And if you’re curious what arrived on my windowsill this season, you’ll find it gently tucked into Volume 3 of Luxunis Life. These are the moments that make it magick! And maybe something in those pages will land for you, too. Cheering you on! Shakti P.S. Volume 3 of Luxunis Life is out now! This season’s issue is an invitation to reconnect with what nourishes you: creativity, ritual, seasonal wisdom, and a little kitchen magick. Inside, you’ll find stories, spells, DIYs, and a few surprises (yes, even a spell or two tucked between the pages like pressed flowers). I poured a lot of heart into this one—and I’d be honored if you gave it a peek. 👉Find It Here! #LuxunisLife #SpringCreativity #WhereInspirationLands #MagickInTheEveryday #Luxunis #EntrepreneurLife #SlowLivingMagic #SpiritualCreatrix #SeasonsOfSoul #IntentionalLiving #CreativityIsSacred #InspiredByStillness #HighPriestessPath #LightAndRitual #KitchenWitchWisdom #CreativeEnergyFlow #ModernMystic

Hi Friends!
I’m back! I’ve just returned from a month-long dive into creativity and quiet. I didn’t plan to work on the business. That wasn’t the goal. I had plans for sleeping in, catching up on my reading, maybe binge watching a series or two. . . Nope. But when things get quiet, The Muses tends to speak up. And this time, they whispered in blueprints and sparked ideas! Ideas sprouted what seemed out of nowhere! Although organic, it was like finding something blooming where you didn’t even remember planting seeds. (Have you done this before? I know I have! One time I thought I had planted zucchini and cucumbers grew!! Story for another day.) Ideas began to flow. Not small tweaks, but new ideas, and some big transformations. I found myself reimagining old favorite offerings (like my spell boxes with intention sigils, themed incenses and oils), dreaming up new ones, and getting honest about what Luxunis wants to become next. It didn’t feel like work. It felt like sculpting clay with your hands. A little messy. A little frustrating. Deeply satisfying. I used that time to listen. Not just to Spirit, but to myself. To the parts of me that were stretching. To the ones that had been quiet for too long. I followed the nudges. I gave them space. Let them speak. And now, here I am. Still in the process, but more myself than I’ve felt in a long time. You should see my office covered in Post-its and print-outs! Spring seems to invite this kind of rebirth. Maybe it’s the light. Maybe it’s the way everything knows how to grow again, even after a long pause. And speaking of joy, during my time away I got to meet my fifth grandchild for the very first time. We hugged, laughed and cried at finally being reunited for what seemed like a bazillion years away from them. We took in the sweet-scent of “newborn baby” and just fell in love. . . for the 5th time. One of my many favorite moments? Sitting on the floor with my older grandkids and teaching them how to play jacks. It was my favorite game growing up. Simple. Rhythmic. Full of laughter. There was something magical about bouncing that little red ball and scooping up the jacks before it landed. Time slowed down. Watching them catch on, giggling and competing, brought me so much joy. It felt like passing a piece of my childhood directly into their hands. A legacy in motion, right there on the floor. If you're in a space like that too, wondering what stays and what goes, I see you. Sometimes the best thing you can do is pause long enough to hear what wants to grow next. And sometimes, you may be surprised at what decides to show up (maybe not zucchini)! Something new is on the way. And I think it’s going to feel really good. Oodles of Hugs, Shakti #notzucchini #newgrandbabies #myloves #soulwork #luxunislife #lifepath #lettingo #listening #rebirthinprogress With Mercury retrograde at my heels and Venus also doing its cosmic cha-cha in reverse, let’s just say—nothing about this journey has been easy breezy. Luxunis Life was never just an idea; it was a calling, a whisper from the unseen, a vision that demanded to be birthed into the world. And like any birth, it has come with contractions, deep breaths, and moments of wondering, What the hell am I doing?!
The inception of Luxunis Life started many, many years ago. It wasn't until last year, when talking to my childhood friend, that I realized I was ready to take on this new venture! And here I am today, with the third launching of this incredible E-zine!! When I first created Luxunis Life, I had this fire inside me to build something more—something beyond a digital magazine, beyond a collection of articles. I wanted it to be a space where ancient wisdom meets modern magick, where the sacred and the practical intertwine seamlessly. It was meant to be a reflection of the magick that pulses through my veins, an extension of the energy that has been my guide since the moment I stepped fully into my path. But what I didn’t expect was how much it would change me. If you’ve been here for a while, you know that my path is anything but linear. I don’t do rigid blueprints or neat five-year plans that fit into tidy little boxes. Luxunis Life started as one thing and has already transformed multiple times, because I have. And let’s be honest, this retrograde season has been the perfect mirror for that transformation. Mercury loves to throw wrenches in anything tech-related (seriously, I’m convinced my computer has developed sentience just to mess with me), and Venus retrograde? Whew. Talk about deep reflections on value, worth, and why we do what we do. It’s been humbling. But it’s also been a reminder. A reminder that evolution isn’t just necessary, it’s sacred. I’ve had to step back, realign, and ask myself the tough questions: What does Luxunis Life actually feel like at its core? What kind of magick do I want people to experience when they read it? How can I make this an offering that feeds both my soul and my community? The truth is, Luxunis Life is no longer just an e-zine. It’s becoming a movement, an energy, a living, breathing testament to the magick we create when we choose to live intentionally. I see it expanding. . . not in a way that feels forced or overwhelming, but in a way that feels aligned. There’s something powerful happening here. And even though I don’t have all the answers yet (and probably never will), I know that what’s coming next is going to be even more magickal (at least that's the intention). So, if you’re here, reading this, know that you’re a part of this journey, too. Whether you’ve been following since day one or just stumbled upon my world, I see you. Thank you for being here. And I hope Luxunis Life brings you as much inspiration, connection, and soul-deep nourishment as it brings me. Because this? This is just the beginning. With Love, Magick, and ONE, Shakti There has been a stirring in humanity... an awakening. Maybe it's being felt as a quiet whisper, maybe it’s a full-blown soul call, but many are feeling it. . . an urge to break free from old patterns, to step into something greater, something more authentic than ever before. The world is shifting at an unpredictable pace, and it’s becoming clearer by the day that the old ways of navigating life just don’t work anymore. You may be craving something deeper, something that doesn’t just help you cope but helps you thrive—no matter what’s happening around you.
This is where the Luxunis Method comes in. We are living in a time of profound transformation. More than ever, people are waking up, realizing there’s more to life, more to them than what they’ve been told. Maybe you’ve been sensing this shift too—feeling like you’re on the edge of something powerful but not quite sure how to access it. You’re not alone. The world is chaotic, the energy is intense, and now, more than ever, you need to trust your inner guidance. The Luxunis Method is here to help you do just that. It’s not just about healing; it’s about empowerment—about reclaiming your sovereignty, strengthening your intuition, and stepping into the highest version of yourself. But how do you know if you’re ready to take that next step? Here are five signs that the Luxunis Method is calling to you: 1. Your Usual Spiritual Practices Aren’t Feeling Like They Used To Meditation, tarot, journaling, energy work—these have been your go-to practices, but lately? They are “hitting” the way they used to, not entirely. You’re craving something deeper, something that not only shifts energy but transforms how you move through life. The Luxunis Method isn’t just another spiritual tool—it’s a whole new way of working with energy that’s designed to activate your personal power at the deepest level. 2. Life is Throwing You Some Major Plot Twists Everything feels like it’s changing—relationships, work, priorities, even your sense of self. It’s like the Universe is nudging (or shoving) you toward something bigger. This isn’t chaos; it’s transformation. When the old starts breaking apart, it’s time to step fully into who you were meant to be. The Luxunis Method helps you navigate these shifts with clarity, confidence, and a deep sense of purpose, helping you turn uncertainty into an opportunity for growth. 3. As World Feels Unstable and You're Searching for Stability With everything shifting so unpredictably, you might be feeling unsteady, searching for a way to stay grounded and clear-headed. The world is going through major shifting, and more than ever, trusting your inner guidance is crucial. The Luxunis Method offers a way to navigate this changing terrain with confidence, clarity, and purpose—helping you reclaim your sovereignty and move forward with certainty, no matter what’s unfolding around you. 4. You’re a Natural Healer, But You Want Something More You’ve always been the person others come to for guidance, the one who just knows things, the one who wants to help. Maybe you’ve explored Reiki, tarot, or other energy work, but nothing has quite felt like home. The Luxunis Method isn’t just another healing modality—it’s a full activation of your natural, inherent gifts and an invitation to step into your true power as an energy worker and guide. 5. You’re Done with Just Healing—You Want Empowerment So many spiritual paths focus on healing wounds, but you’re ready for more. You don’t want to just fix things—you want to thrive. The Luxunis Method shifts your entire energetic frequency so you’re not just healing over and over—you’re stepping into mastery, into full embodiment of your highest self. It’s about reclaiming the wholeness that’s already within you. Are You Ready? If this is resonating, then there’s a huge possibility you’re ready. The Luxunis Method isn’t just something you experience, it’s something you become. It’s a path of deep transformation, empowerment, and awakening to your truest, highest, energetic potential. And you don’t have to walk it alone. There are Luxunis Method Practitioners, including myself, who are available to guide and support you. If you feel the call, trust it. Reach out, explore, and take that next step toward reclaiming your power. You’re not just healing, you’re becoming. And that changes everything! If you're ready, reach out! I'm just a message away! Blessings on your journey- Shakti Hello Beautiful Souls,
Blessed Imbolc! This is one of my favorite times of year, when I feel the magick of transformation. It's a time to dream big and think about the intentions you want to "seed" for this year. For me, Imbolc is much more than a seasonal marker, it’s an opportunity to reconnect with the core of my spirit and to set intentions that nurture growth in all facets of life. It’s a time to honor Brigid, the Goddess of Inspiration, healing, and creative spark. This is a moment to shed the weight of what no longer serves us and to make space for dreams yet to be born. This ritual helps me channel Imbolc’s transformative energy, and I’m excited to share it with you! 1. Create Your Sacred Space Start by carving out a little sanctuary in your home (if you don't have one already). Gather items that speak to your spirit:
2. Connect to Your Inner Flame Light your white candle and let its soft glow be a mirror to your inner light. As you gaze into the flame, feel the warmth and strength of your own creative spirit. Say: "With this flame, I awaken the light within me. May it guide my steps towards growth and infinite possibility." Pause, breathe deeply, and let the flickering light remind you that no matter how dark the night, your inner fire burns brightly, waiting to illuminate your path. 3. Plant the Seeds of Your Intentions Hold a few seeds in your hand—each one a promise of what you wish to nurture in your life. Whether you’re planting literal seeds or using symbolic ones, let your heart speak. Close your eyes, visualize your deepest desires, and say: "With these seeds, I plant the promise of my future. May they grow, flourish, and lead me to a life abundant with love, creativity, and joy." Then, gently place the seeds on your altar or plant them in a pot. Let each seed remind you of your own potential for blossoming into something extraordinary. 4. Cleanse and Renew Your Spirit Now, take your bowl of water and anoint yourself—forehead, heart, and palms. As the cool water caresses your skin, affirm: "I release the old and embrace the new. I welcome the flow of fresh energy and open my heart to all the possibilities that await." Feel the cleansing ritual washing away any lingering doubts, leaving you open and ready for the blessings of the season. 5. Close with Gratitude As you close your ritual, take a few moments to bask in gratitude. Thank your ancestors, Mother Earth, your Spirit team or and the unseen energies that support your journey. Extinguish your candle softly, knowing that its light continues to burn within you. If you used milk or cream as an offering, pour it lovingly onto the earth or over a living plant—a final tribute to the cycle of nourishment and renewal. If a full ritual feels like too much, here are some suggestions to still honor the magick of Imbolc:
Remember that Imbolc is a reminder of the cycle of rebirth and possibilities. Below the surface of what appears to a dormant and slumbering earth, there is a vibrant pulse beneath urging us to dream, to grow, and to shine. How do you embrace the magick of Imbolc in your own life? Share your rituals, reflections, or even the smallest sparks of inspiration in the comments below. This celestial event doesn’t just bring a cosmic reset; it carries the magical energy of new beginnings, amplified by the arrival of the Lunar New Year and the start of the Year of the Wood Snake. This is a great time to set intentions, connect with nature, and flow into the energies of the year ahead. What Does the First New Moon Mean? New moons are always a time for planting seeds—metaphorically and energetically. When the sky is dark, it’s like the universe is giving us a blank page, saying, “Here, your story starts now.” This isn’t the time to rush or leap but rather to dream, reflect, and whisper your deepest desires to the cosmos. This new moon in Aquarius invites us to think big. Here are some things to ponder and journal about:
Pair this potent Aquarian energy with the dawning of the Year of the Wood Snake, and we’ve got an alchemy of wisdom, transformation, and creativity waiting to unfold. The Year of the Wood Snake: In Chinese astrology, the Snake is a symbol of transformation, mystery, and intuition. But this year isn’t just any snake year—it’s ruled by Wood, an element that embodies growth, flexibility, and deep roots. The combination of Snake and Wood makes 2025 a year to shed old skins, embrace new perspectives, and anchor your dreams into reality. Here are some ways to work this energy to fullest extent:
Ways to Work with the First New Moon & Lunar New Year Energy Here’s how you can harness the magic of this cosmic fresh start: 1. Set Your Intentions Use the energy of the new moon to journal your intentions. Questions to ponder:
2. Cleanse Your Space Before you can grow, you must clear out the clutter. Just as the Snake sheds its skin, take this time to let go of what no longer serves you. Smudge your home with sage, sprinkle some salt in your corners for energetic clearing, or even just reorganize your sacred space. Consider as you clean what you're ready to release or what has served its purpose and is ready for releasing. 3. Create a Lunar Vision Board: A fun way to create a board is to go digital! Create a vision board on Canva or Pinterest that reflects your goals for the year. Include images, affirmations, and symbols that resonate with the themes of intuition, growth, and adaptability. 4. Incorporate Family Traditions For my family, the Lunar New Year is always special. One of our favorite traditions is exchanging red envelopes with $2 bills inside. Why $2 bills, you ask? We believe they bring good luck and ensure prosperity for the coming year! It’s such a beautiful way to share abundance and blessings with loved ones while staying connected to this season of renewal. This year, I’ll be traveling to Minnesota to spend time with my children and grandchildren. Rest assured, the red envelope tradition will be alive and well—and full of love. A Ritual to Align with the Year of the Wood Snake: Here’s a simple but powerful ritual to kick off 2025 aligned with this lunar magic:

It’s been a while since I sat down to write—really write. The kind of writing where my thoughts flow freely, unfiltered and unapologetically real. There’s a rustiness to it, a clunky awkwardness that comes from letting the words sit still for too long. But today, I breathe. And as I exhale, I’m reminded that life’s flow doesn’t stop just because we’ve paused to catch our breath. It’s always moving, carrying us forward, whether we’re ready or not.
This morning, as I sipped my coffee, I felt that familiar stirring. A nudge. A whisper. Maybe it was the sunlight streaming through the window, or perhaps it was the way the steam curled upward, as if it, too, had something to say. Whatever it was, it reminded me that the flow is always there, waiting for me to dip back in. Lately, life has felt a little… noisy. You know what I mean? That kind of noise that isn’t external but internal. The hum of too many thoughts competing for attention, the nagging pull of things undone, and the quiet—yet persistent—whisper of "you should be doing more." But here’s the thing I’m learning: there is magick in the pause. In the stillness. In the decision to say, "Today, I’ll just be." And so, I’ve decided to stop fighting the flow and instead, float with it. To honor the rhythm of my life as it is, not as I think it should be. It’s a gentle surrender, one that’s been both liberating and terrifying. But isn’t that the dance of life? The constant balancing act between holding on and letting go. Today, I let go of needing everything to be perfect. I let go of the fear that my words won’t resonate or that they might be too much, or worse, not enough. Instead, I’m choosing to trust that the words I share will find the hearts that need them most. Life is generous, isn’t it? It’s messy and unpredictable, but it’s also overflowing with gifts—gifts that come in the form of small moments, quiet revelations, and even the pauses that feel a little uncomfortable. Like the moon illuminating the darkest corners of our being, these moments remind us to look closer, to pay attention, and to embrace the beauty in the chaos. Speaking of embracing the chaos, I’ve been diving into some updates behind the scenes. My website is getting a much-needed refresh, reflecting the ever-evolving essence of who I am and the work I’m called to share. It’s been a labor of love—infusing it with magick, intention, and clarity. As part of this process, I’ve also decided to prioritize my blog. Writing has always been a way for me to connect with myself and with all of you, and I’m excited to make this space one where my thoughts, musings, and moments of magick can live freely. So here I am, a little rusty but grateful. Grateful for the flow, for the pause, and for the opportunity to sit here, typing these words, knowing they’re a part of something bigger. A ripple in the infinite stream of connection and creation. To anyone reading this, I hope you’ll give yourself permission to pause when you need it. To trust that even in the stillness, you’re exactly where you’re meant to be. And when you’re ready, the flow will always be there, waiting to carry you forward. Until next time, dare to do the big and little things... Love, love, LOVE! Shakti I can honestly say that I don't always resonate with the full moon energy. In fact, I'll even say that most of the time, I don't. I usually feel tired, more than agitated and definitely moody. Instead of the howling wolf, I think I become more of the "werewolf"... not fun. But there are those rare occasions where I feel fully alive, magnetized and excited for the full moon. Today, was one of those times. Maybe because it was a full moon that happened to fall on the Summer Solstice... I have a very strong feeling that was a HUGE part of it. Regardless of the "why", today was an exceptionally magickal day for me. I felt a stirring... a calling if you will, to create some magick. To connect and really tune into aspects and messages from my inner Goddess that I was missing. So I tuned in. I got a lot. A whole lot. It was a little shadowy, it was a little more than uncomfortable but the energies were ripe under this moon to fully see those parts of me... To really have them illuminated to see without fear or judgement. I saw some raw parts in me that needed some love. I saw that there were places in me that needed some tending to. And it happened because I decided to pay attention. I mean, really pay attention.
And so I saw these parts in all of the raw and unloved state. And with all the love and acceptance I could muster... I scooped them up and allowed them to be not only placed under the moon in all of Her glory but to be dissolved in the sweetness of Her light. I cried with the full understanding that no matter how far it is I feel I have gone, or how many tears I may shed over bits of moments like this, where self discovery can be a bit uncomfortable; it is sweet. It is sweet because I know that I have looked at, acknowledged and cared about a part of me that was hidden. I gave it permission to come out and fully be illuminated. Transformed, by the light of Her moon. It is generous, this life... This magick. I love it all. Shakti ![]() It's interesting how Goddess has been working in my life lately. I have been invited to frequently pause and "check in". My life has been on a plane of "to dos" lately and I can easily get caught up in the mundane and often necessary tasks of the world. As we all must traverse on this plane of existence and our never ending "to dos", I'd like to think that I am still aware of the "more" around me. There is more than what we see around us. It is that place where you see or feel something that cannot be explained. Or you just "know" something is about to happen but you can't explain what... Well, that sort of living is what I'd like to think I'm pretty well versed at. And for the most part, I am. (most humbly stated... for the record) :) But there are also those times when the mundane can take hold of me and sail me away across the abyss of the human construct. Where I worry about what to worry about next... Where the old stories love to creep back into my mind and try to attach to current situations, Or... Where I am just too busy with family and friends to stop and check in to the true knowing part of me. The part that transcends the mundane and loves to look past the illusion. So as I have been going, going, going. I have noticed something... Things tend to get a little quiet. Sort of like talking on the phone and the other end of the line goes quiet and you think the call dropped? You know that sort of quiet? It makes you panic for a quick sec and say, "Hello? Hello?" Well that's what's been happening in my world. Goddess has been training me that when all goes "Quiet", I need to stop and check in. Did the call drop? Am I even connected? More importantly... Am I even listening? And that's the point. Am I even listening. Goddess works in the most delightful, mysterious ways in my life. And just as She does Her part... so must I. I must always ensure that I am taking a moment to say, "hello". The great things is though... She always answers. In Her service, With so much love, Shakti Hello Beautiful People!! I have some exciting news to share. It has been all over my Facebook page and other social medias. I am releasing my new meditation, "Illumination" on July 31, 2015. There is a story behind this work and how this came to be. It's very special to my heart and such a strong testament as to how the Divine works in our lives. I share this video with you with lots of love. Shakti |
